FDSmax LinkMera (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use LinkMera.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Registration data: Phone number, email address, and name provided during sign-up.
  • Organisation data: Company details, registration documents, and legal information you upload for verification.
  • Board activity data: Resolutions you create, votes you cast, amendments you propose, and documents you generate.
  • Deal data: Business deal proposals, NDA signatures, and platform transaction and settlement records.
  • Payment data: Payment method details processed securely by our payment partners (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Usage data: Log data, device information, IP address, and session activity.
  • Local Communities & Services data: Community messages, discussion threads, and Local Service listings/requirements you post as an original content owner, booking and order records, your timezone (used only to reset your daily free-post allowance at your own local midnight), and abuse reports submitted or received.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the LinkMera platform
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send OTPs, notifications, and service-related communications
  • Facilitate board resolutions, voting, and document generation
  • Match entrepreneurs with investors using RAG AI (anonymously until you consent to disclosure)
  • Facilitate business deal platform transactions and settlements
  • Operate Local Communities and Local Services on an online intermediary platform basis, including membership gating and daily posting limits
  • Investigate and act on abuse, community violations, copyright infringement, or DMCA takedown requests submitted to meet@linkmera.com
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Local Communities & User-Generated Content Compliance

LinkMera operates an online facilitation platform. Community discussions, messages, reviews, and service listings (“Offering” or “Looking for”) are user-generated content published directly by members.

  • LinkMera Management Non-Responsibility: LinkMera Management and FDSmax do not author, endorse, or verify user-generated content and are not responsible for content, opinions, or representations posted by users.
  • Original Content Owner Responsibility: The individual or entity who posts the content or service listing is the original content owner and is solely and legally responsible for the information, claims, personal data, and offerings they publish.
  • Public vs. Private Data: Community conversations are visible to community members. Please exercise discretion when sharing any personal information. Private service requirements and order chats are restricted strictly between matched seekers and providers.
  • Reporting Abuse, Privacy Violations & DMCA Takedowns: If you believe any community post or service listing infringes your privacy, violates applicable laws, or constitutes copyright infringement (DMCA), report it immediately with relevant URLs and details to: meet@linkmera.com. Prompt investigative and remedial action will be taken.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We share data only:

  • With payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, PayU) to process transactions
  • With cloud storage providers (Cloudflare R2 / AWS S3) to store documents you upload
  • With SMS providers (ClickSend, Fast2SMS, 2factor.in) to deliver OTPs
  • As required by law or in response to valid legal process
  • With your explicit consent (e.g., disclosing your identity to a deal counterparty after NDA)

5. Data Security

We employ bank-grade security measures including end-to-end encryption for sensitive data, role-based access control, and comprehensive audit trails for all board actions. All data is stored on secure servers. We conduct regular security audits.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Board resolutions and signed documents are retained indefinitely as they may constitute legal records. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us at meet@linkmera.com, subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of LinkMera.
